Shares of HCL Technologies, Bajaj Finance ended with a gain of 1 percent on Monday after both shares get included in the S&P BSE Sensex.
HCL Technologies and Bajaj Finance has been included in the 30-share BSE Sensex effective December 24, 2018. However, Wipro and Adani Ports excluded from the index on the same day.
Asia Index Private Limited, a 50-50 partnership between S&P Dow Jones Indices LLC and BSE Limited, also decided to make changes in the other indices also. In the BSE 100 index as well as Carbonex, Edelweiss Financial Services is going to replace Power Finance Corporation.
