The major brokerage has announced the winners of the International Loan Market Awards 2017 held on the Gold Coast this week.

More than 550 delegates attended the 18th annual International Loan Market Awards at the RACV Royal Pines Resort on the Gold Coast on Monday, 11 September, to celebrate the top achievements throughout the Loan Market Group.

The awards honours and celebrates the achievements of the members over the financial year ending 30 June 2017 and is part of the Loan Market Group’s annual two-day Power Up conference.

Franchise owner Josh Bartlett took home four major awards. The Victoria-based broker won the No. 1 Australian Business Award, the No. 1 Australian Individual Broker Award, the Chairman’s Choice for Outstanding Contribution to the Group and the No. 1 Ray White Settlements Award.

Bruce Patten from New Zealand (NZ) took out the prestigious International Award as Loan Market’s No. 1 Individual Adviser, and Gopal Sreenivasan, also from NZ, took out the Top International Business Award.

Marios Rokka took out the Corby-Mills Brokers Choice Award, as voted by brokers.

Aaron Greffenius was the recipient of the Chairman’s Choice for Outstanding Contribution to the Group for his outstanding work with asset finance.

“These incredible achievements are [a] testament to the strength of our people and the passion for what they do,” Loan Market chairman Sam White said. “We are so proud to recognise our brokers and advisers across Australia and New Zealand, not only for their numbers but on the quality of their work, excellence in customer service and commitment to compliance, ensuring we are industry leaders.

“This year, we recognised more of our members than ever before. We saw more new talent coming through the Group and I was moved to hear our top performers highlighting their team for their support and how they are embracing the vision of being a trusted adviser.”

Mr White continued: “The evening highlighted the closeness of our Group and the momentum we have to deliver the strongest possible value proposition for our brokers and advisers.”
