National Funding Inc., an alternative lender specializing in small business loans, has launched a free tax eBook for small business owners in anticipation of the April 15 tax return deadline.
The 23-page “Guide to Tax Prep for Small Businesses” tax eBook explains how to get the most out of your business Federal tax return in a way that’s easy-to-read, approachable and achievable.
The tax eBook aims at equipping small business owners in any industry with the information they need to confidently prepare to file their business taxes. It includes links to IRS Forms and Publications along with a step-by-step walk-through for deducting business and capital expenses and asset depreciation.
Topics In The Tax eBook
Among the topics the eBook covers are: Types of business taxes, common business expenses, filing a business tax extension and an explanation of Section 179 that became a tax rule this year, allowing business owners to deduct the cost of equipment purchases or leasing payments up to $500,000.
National Funding is a private lender of small business loans that has served the small business community nationwide since 1999. The company is, however, not a tax preparation service, and it advises that you consult a separate financial advisor or licensed tax preparer for any questions or concerns regarding your tax preparation needs.
Explaining why the company decided to produce the eBook, David Gilbert, founder and chief executive officer of National Funding, said, “We created the online tax guide to empower and educate small business owners about their taxes. Many of our customers reach out to us about needing funding for tax payments this time of the year, so we hope this book helps them save money and clear up confusion about the complex and ever-changing tax regulations.”
The company says it strives to provide flexible solutions, fast turnaround and excellent service to its customers and clients in a diverse range of industries, and has been recognized on the Inc. 500 | 5000 list for the past three years.
